The
wordsSince we are hearing
so much in the news lately
about Israel and the so-called
Palestinians, I thought
it might be good to take
a little deeper look into
things. Some people out
there might think the Israelis
captured the land from the
Palestinians way back when
and now the poor Palestinians
just want their homeland
back. Nothing could be farther
from the truth! The Israeli
people captured “their own
land” back in a six day
war with Jordan’s King Hussein,
not Yasser Arafat. It seems
all these Palestinians then
seemed to “discover” their
national identity. The truth
is, Palestine never existed,
nor a known language called
Palestinian, nor a distinct
Palestinian culture. Palestinians
are Arabs.
The
first time the name was
used was in 70 A.D. when
the Romans destroyed the
Temple and tried to kill
all the Hebrews. From then
on the Romans declared the
land of Israel would be
no more and called it Palestine
to rub salt into the wound.
The name was taken from
the Philistines and we all
know who they were. They
tried to change the name
of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina,
but that didn’t last very
long. So now the Arabs own
99.9 percent of the Middle
East, but that’s not good
enough for them, they want
it “all.” Arafat wants Jerusalem
because it’s Holy to the
Hebrews! It is not really
a historical site for Muslims
“as they claim.” The Koran
mentions Medina countless
times and Mecca hundreds
of times, but it only “vaguely”
mentions a city Mohammed
took a night journey to,
that later “some”
Muslims
decided was Jerusalem. This
is as close as Islam’s connection
gets with Jerusalem. Meanwhile,
Hebrews can trace their
roots to Jerusalem all the
way back to Abraham. Arafat
does not want the land for
his people, afterall, Israel
represents one-tenth of
one percent of the landmass.
What Arafat wants is stated
plainly in his Koran, to
kill every Jew, and then
to kill every Christian.
But I think born again believers
have a message for this
Arch Terrorist, if he thinks
he can have what the God
of Israel gave to “His people”,
then he’s living in never-never
land.
