It
just so happens that the first letter of the Torah is equal to
two and the last letter of the Torah equals thirty. So we have
a total of thirty two. So let’s see some more interesting things
about this number. The numeric value for the Hebrew word heart
(lev) is 32. This is also numerically equal to the Hebrew word
glory (Kavod). Who is the “heart” of heaven and the “glory” of
heaven, Yeshua.
This
is yet another reason we
are commanded to obey YHVH’S
Word (32) with all our heart
(32). This would also be
another reason why Yeshua
was always teaching first
and last principles, because
He was the whole Torah,
the beginning and the end.
It also explains why Torah
observant believers are
seen wearing prayer shawls
with four corners and eight
threads-4 x 8 = 32. There
are also 32 cells of life
in a newly conceived human
being in the womb on the
5th day of cell division.
This is a picture of the
entire Torah (32) which
consists of 5 books. We
also start our life with
32 teeth. Thus from an infant
we are created to speak
the wisdom of Torah. Then
as we might expect, the
number 32 has to be linked
to the temple. For one example,
the altar was exactly 32
cubits by 32 cubits.
With
all this information it
should not amaze us why
this is such a coveted number
in mystical groups such
as the Masons. I would imagine
it is why the Masons elevate
some of their members beyond
the 32nd degree to a level
of a 33rd degree Mason.
It is to show supremacy
over the God of Israel,
or so they think. Possibly
the most unusual aspect
of the number for me is
how “close’ it is to my
age. What a great number!
